Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Daniel Mossinghoff worked for approximately four years as a prosecutor for Arapahoe and Douglas counties.  As a prosecutor, Daniel handled literally thousands of cases.  He has experience with all levels of felony, misdemeanor, juvenile, and traffic cases, including DUIs.  He quickly became a supervisor in county court and has lectured at a seminar (C.L.E.) for other attorneys on the issue of criminal restitution.  As a felony prosecutor, Daniel's case load included all kinds of drug offenses, sex assaults, violent crimes, and even murder.  Daniel has taken approximately 100 cases to trial and was awarded the Outstanding Trial Energy Award for Arapahoe and Douglas Counties in 2002.  After leaving the District Attorney's Office in 2004, Daniel spent approximately one year in complex civil litigation focusing on insurance defense as well as government and police officer liability.  Now, Daniel is committed to protecting the rights for all of the criminally accused in the Denver area.
